Waste Reduction Week

Booths in all Residence Lobbies, Date, Time and Locations TBD

Did you know Western's waste diversion rate is 50%? That means half of our waste is sorted into recycling and organics, rather than landfills... but we need your help to make it even better.
You can tackle the climate crisis during our Waste Reduction Week, all while having fun! Daily challenges and activities will be available on our social media to teach us how we can make a difference.
A campus-wide competition will see which residence can reduce their waste the most – will it be yours? With both individual prizes and a building-wide grand prize to win, you don’t want to miss out!
